By targeting only the superficial layer of skin tissue, damaged tissue is removed, revealing younger and healthier-looking skin.

Traditional CO2 treatments, however, have long been associated with considerable downtime. CoolPeel laser treatment reduces the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, sunspots, and pore size. Unlike traditional laser treatments, CoolPeel creates fractional deposits of laser energy, which allows for faster healing and improved skin texture after the session.

The CoolPeel laser also corrects acne scars and rosacea. The fractional laser beams vaporize the skin’s outer layers to resurface the skin and increase collagen production.

  • What happens during the Coolsculpting procedure?
    During the actual procedure patients can read, watch Netflix, listen to music, or just relax. The CoolSculpting® procedure is performed without any sedation and takes as little as 35 minutes or more depending on the extent of the treatment zone. An applicator cup is placed over the targeted area and suction is used to draw the fat into the applicator that contains cooling panels.
  • What does it feel like?
    As the cooling begins during the first few minutes, you will feel pressure and intense cold. This soon dissipates. Many people read, watch videos, work on their laptop, or even take a nap during their treatment.
  • Is Coolsculpting safe?
    Coolsculpting is a non-invasive, non-surgical procedure and it does not have any of the same risks as surgicial procedures. There are many benefits to Coolsculpting: No downtime No need for anesthesia Pain-free No incisions
  • What should I be aware about for post procedure?
    Patients can expect some redness, bruising, and reduced sensation at the treated area. These effects usually go away on their own within a few days to weeks of the procedure and are considered normal.

  • How many sessions will I need and how long is each session?
    Every treatment is personalized and tailored to your specific goal. The number of sessions and the length of session will vary depending on the number of areas being treated during one visit. Remember, we offer a complimentary, no-obligation consultation so we can answer these questions after we meet.
  • Where does the fat go? Are the results permanent?
    Once the treated fat cells are crystallized (frozen), your body processes the fat and eliminates these dead cells. Once the treated fat cells are gone, they’re gone for good.

How is the Tetra Pro different from the CoolPeel?

While the Tetra Pro ablative treatment typically requires 5-7 days of downtime, the CoolPeel recovery period is approximately 1-3 days. CoolPeel treats the surface layer of skin (the epidermis), and the Tetra Pro delivers energy below the dermis to help target deeper lines and wrinkles.

What is the Downtime for Tetra Pro?
The downtime with a Tetra Pro treatment will vary depending upon the depth of treatment needed to obtain your desired results, typically 5-7 days. Your goals from the treatment and the corresponding downtime will be discussed during your pre-treatment consultation.

What Can Be Expected Post Tetra Pro Treatment?
Immediately following the treatment, you will be red as if you have a sunburn, and you will have a feeling of warmth that will fade after the first few hours. After the treatment, your skin will feel dry and rough for the first week as it heals. Therefore, it is essential to stay hydrated and keep your skin moisturized. Sunscreen is also a must.
